Faces of Bee-eater

This preening Blue-tailed Bee-eater managed to light up a rather disappointing morning of bird watching.

A most amusing moment when this angle to the bird rendered it a scowl, adorable indeed!

And always a thrill when you are spotted too!

And it continued to preen despite knowing that it was watched.
