Taman Rimba Kiara is a little green gem located in a corner of the TTDI residential area. The above flowering tree, the firmiana malayana or mata lembu, flashes in testimony to man's care-less-ness - it's one of only two trees in the park that had flowered, since then the tree had been chopped down.

Fruits of the wild

Stunning colours and shapes.  Who would not be attracted to these?

Gorgeous huge bunch of the wild palm

Attractive even when it's drying up

Furry red clusters, exquisite green leaves
A coppersmith barbet with leftover sweetness on its beak after its feast

Wonder if these are a hard nut to crack!

Tantalising clusters
A yellow-vented bulbul stands guard over its pick

Stunning red goblet of a fruit, perhaps poisonous as it was left well alone

Pleasing shades of brown, only nature can create

Wild green banana, gorgeous maroon flower
