Dollarbird teaser

The lighting was ideal and the perch was too, but I waited in vain for the Dollarbird to take flight so that I can shoot it in flight.  Alas, the minute I turned around because of a distraction, the bird took off, a classic frustration of a bird-watcher!  However, am till grateful for the images I managed which showed off the gorgeous bluish-green metallic colours of the bird, including the bluish tinge on its throat.
