A little green gem in a corner of the TTDI residential area.
The firmiana malayana or mata lembu, remains here in testimony to man's care-less-ness - its tree had since been felled. Let not the birds leave too.

Hornbill vs Mynas
It has been quite a while since I last saw the star bird of the taman. When it was sighted this time, its rather naughty behaviour was what drew attention. It looked like the Oriental Pied Hornbill was 'caught' trying to raid a nest, that of the Common Mynas, going by the shrieks and cries of the Mynas.
The Mynas standing guard, and still shrieking at the Hornbill.
Finally was chased off, to preen close-by.
And looked like it had to be a fruit meal after all for this bird.
This female Hornbill has such gorgeous eye lashes!
