There was merely a moment of hesitation when it spotted me, and then it quickly finished off its find.
Flying further away there was another treat waiting.
Even as I approached and stood close to it, this young female Orange-bellied Flowerpecker simply turned the other way, squashed the fruit to its desired size and swallowed it.
And remember to 'brush' your bill after meal.
