The one with the beetle got his catch first and was joined by the other, and whilst the other had swallowed its insect, this one was still at it. In fact, the second one had gone for a second dragonfly and the first one had still not finished its first. Nevertheless it had a most satisfactory look when it was all over.
The firmiana malayana or mata lembu, remains here in testimony to man's care-less-ness - its tree had since been felled. Let not the birds leave too.

Falconets' feast
This is the first time I came across two Black-thighed Falconets absorbed in their catch, one a beetle, the other a dragonfly. The one with the beetle seemed to have it more difficult, going at it for a couple of minutes before it could finish off the poor insect.
The one with the beetle got his catch first and was joined by the other, and whilst the other had swallowed its insect, this one was still at it. In fact, the second one had gone for a second dragonfly and the first one had still not finished its first. Nevertheless it had a most satisfactory look when it was all over.
