Taman Rimba Kiara is a little green gem located in a corner of the TTDI residential area. The above flowering tree, the firmiana malayana or mata lembu, flashes in testimony to man's care-less-ness - it's one of only two trees in the park that had flowered, since then the tree had been chopped down.

Yellow-rumped flycatchers, Part ll

It was pretty jolly trying to keep up with these flycatchers.

Time when you prayed that you managed to get some decent shots.

It was certainly backward, forward, rightward, leftward, whichever way you could go for these teasing birds.

There was hardly a lull.

An occasional respite when one paused to scan before the frenzy resumed.

Sometimes it's predictable where the bird was aiming for next ...

... sometimes it's anyone's guess,
All in all it was a dream to catch them in their glorious breeding plumages and acrobatic bests!

As this one continued to oblige one more time, it was also an indication to call it a day as dictated by the images (lol)!
