Jambu Fruit-Dove

Not the first time, but always a rare treat to sight this Near Threatened (IUCN status) female Jambu Fruit-Dove in the bukit.

Crossing my fingers that henceforth the next lucky encounter would be with a male JFD.

There's never a haste to capture its images for this one will feed at its own pace, move to its own indulgence and without self-consciousness if one doesn't hound it.

Aware but unwary

A classic case of I Spy You Spy, and nobody gets anybody, which is perfectly fine with me!
