It moved like it was the most normal of behaviours but it's not, as it's usually seen to forage in trees.
From afar, I could have mistaken the Pied Triller foraging on the ground for a forest wagtail if this was during the migrant season.
Not very successfully as I observed for almost 5 minutes as it strode, stalked and crossed the field.
Again, it's failed attempt.
Moving on again.
And it's to the opposite area now as I continued to stalk it, and absorbed in foraging it was not mindful of my movements.
This time it took off again like a bullet to another patch.
Perhaps a better vantage point here.
