The firmiana malayana or mata lembu, remains here in testimony to man's care-less-ness - its tree had since been felled. Let not the birds leave too.

Barbet takes flight

The Coppersmith Barbet is a pretty bird but this young one made me break into smiles as it made a rather awkward flight across to an adjacent branch.
