And so this almost pint-size of a raptor, a Black-thighed Falconet was chased off by Black-naped Orioles, so sudden that I was too stunned and could only utter out loud.
Was minding its own business until it decided to fly to a nearby tree.
The episode was all the more surprising when it happened to an adult falconet.
Taking flight to a solitary topless tree-stand.
And these Orioles were not even adult birds.
The aggressor eventually chased off what looked like its younger sibling.
The younger sub-adult.
