The firmiana malayana or mata lembu, remains here in testimony to man's care-less-ness - its tree had since been felled. Let not the birds leave too.

Yellow-rumped Flycatcher

Its presence revealed by click-like sounds are like a monotonous musical note that sticks in one's head and refuses to leave until one exorcises it by a sighting, and more.

Frustration, annoyance at myself each time I came across one and failed to spot it.  In particular at the start of this migratory season, interestingly, not one but at least two each time at the two different sites I came across them.

And finally, despite tiredness wearing down the ankles and pulling at a recovering wrist, sudden flashes of bright yellow gave them a sprite of an energy!

And up there, two were heard and seen, 'clicking' and 'spiralling' away.

Meanwhile what appeared to be a younger one was busily seeking its own catch a few branches below.
