Taman Rimba Kiara is a little green gem located in a corner of the TTDI residential area. The above flowering tree, the firmiana malayana or mata lembu, flashes in testimony to man's care-less-ness - it's one of only two trees in the park that had flowered, since then the tree had been chopped down.

Lest we forget

Grasping, grappling
for now
As shadows
fall over the earth, temporarily,
Yes, it’s only for now,
Reminding us
Calling us out
to be mindful

What have we done?
What have we been doing?

For now
Minutes and seconds stretch long
Take time now, recall

What you have done
What you have been doing

When these shadows are lifted
How will you walk, differently
How will you pause, purposefully
How will you care, truly.
