It looked like it's a complete circle for me when I chanced upon a female Yellow-rumped Flycatcher (Ficedula zanthopygia) at the very site where I first spotted a male at the start of this migrant season. And this would probably be the last sighting in view that most of these migrant visitors are already leaving or have left.
And as with the last couple of years, the yellow-rumped flycatchers seem to be less in number now compared to the green-backed flycatchers.
And as, too, with many of these flycatchers they remain rather skittish from the start of their arrival till they leave.
