The firmiana malayana or mata lembu, remains here in testimony to man's care-less-ness - its tree had since been felled. Let not the birds leave too.

Holes and holes

When I saw this young tree, I was immediately drawn to its moth-eaten, or perhaps caterpillar-eaten leaves.  Tried as I could, I could not spot any teeny feeding weenies on the leaves.

And lo and behold, I found moths hugging the stem and under the leaves.

Arresting diversion

This Moth alighted on a leaf right in front of me, hardly my usual photography subject, but who can resist such a beautiful creature, especially the striking red ring.

And this floating cocoon too stopped me in my track.
