The firmiana malayana or mata lembu, remains here in testimony to man's care-less-ness - its tree had since been felled. Let not the birds leave too.

The other winged ones

When there are no significant avian sightings, these lovely creatures will do, even if one is a stink bug, the other being a gorgeous Yellow Glassy Tiger butterfly.

This blog is started in response to a nagging question:

Will we wake up one day to find that we have failed the plants and the trees, the birds and the insects, the animals, big and small, that call Taman Rimba Kiara home? We have failed to look after them, and us? When we fail to look out for others, we fail to look out for ourselves too.

And over time, this concern has been extended to include Bukit Kiara.
