I rarely see a Box Turtle stride so firmly out of the lake towards land, and this one looked like it was headed for across the path, into the undergrowth which I had seen one before lurking there. Unfortunately for this one, as it sensed my approach it couldn't u-turn fast enough to return to the lake. Quite comical, to say the least!
