Taman Rimba Kiara is a little green gem located in a corner of the TTDI residential area. The above flowering tree, the firmiana malayana or mata lembu, flashes in testimony to man's care-less-ness - it's one of only two trees in the park that had flowered, since then the tree had been chopped down.

The other beauties

Probably one of the best signages erected - #leavetheleaf  ... the goodness of leaf litter, the food of butterflies, bees and insects, let it be, let it be!

And this is why ....

More than a few in one small area ... micro beauties abound.

Blue Marsh Hawk (Orthetrum glaucum)

Of a natural weaver

Weevil (Curculionid sp)

And in another corner.

Cricket (Ornebius sp)

Brown Tussock Moth caterpillar (Olene mendosa)

Monkey Hopper (Erucius sp)

Striped albatross (Appias libythea)

Common Darter (Sympetrum striolatum)

And this one lurked too, motionless, as I almost stumbled into it.

Common/Painted Bronzeback (Dendrelaphis pictus)
