Black Bat Flower

It's the season of black bat flowers (Tacca chantrieri) in the bukit, as one easily comes across a row of them, or in a cluster.

This one is probably the start of a bloom.

All images were by mobile phone which was the easiest way to acquire these images as some of the plants were in balance-defying locations.

With the flowers beckoning at almost every pause, it was also a challenge to not stop for a pic!
