Crested Goshawk

  A distant encounter with a Crested Goshawk that inevitably ended in mutual spotting!

And flexing and preening was not for drying after a rain but also on a hot day to dispel heat.

A common repeated left to right movement of its head when this raptor caught the presence of a big lens aimed at it.
