Taman Rimba Kiara is a little green gem located in a corner of the TTDI residential area. The above flowering tree, the firmiana malayana or mata lembu, flashes in testimony to man's care-less-ness - it's one of only two trees in the park that had flowered, since then the tree had been chopped down.

Perhaps a migrant Cuckoo

The taman charted another first with the sighting of this Square-tailed Drongo-cuckoo.  It was seen to spend a few minutes at the same spot, preening.  This bird may be commonly seen in forested area and forest edge but it is believed that those found in parks could be migrants, escaping winter up north.
Could this then be a migrant!

And it was sighted again in the afternoon.
