Taman Rimba Kiara is a little green gem located in a corner of the TTDI residential area. The above flowering tree, the firmiana malayana or mata lembu, flashes in testimony to man's care-less-ness - it's one of only two trees in the park that had flowered, since then the tree had been chopped down.

Hyperactive Babbler

It's always great when one can redo images of birds that are extremely challenging to photograph like the Pin-striped Tit Babbler.  Bukit Kiara is indeed an excellent site to recapture images of this gregarious bird because the place seems to abound with them.
Measuring only 12-14cm, these birds are normally found in forest and forested areas but hardly stay long enough whilst foraging or perching for good shots.
