Taman Rimba Kiara is a little green gem located in a corner of the TTDI residential area. The above flowering tree, the firmiana malayana or mata lembu, flashes in testimony to man's care-less-ness - it's one of only two trees in the park that had flowered, since then the tree had been chopped down.

Nature's two-legged enemy

Man can indeed be the worst of culprits when it comes to taking from nature.  It has been a long time since I've seen such abundance in the river and I know for sure even as I write about this, the entire stretch of the river would have been trawled to nothingness in man's hands for they have been seen daily at the river.
The common regret is how irresponsible these culprits are who take almost in entirety, unnecessarily, wastefully.

It was so delightful just watching these fishes, and equally heart-breaking knowing that these could be gone too soon.
