Taman Rimba Kiara is a little green gem located in a corner of the TTDI residential area. The above flowering tree, the firmiana malayana or mata lembu, flashes in testimony to man's care-less-ness - it's one of only two trees in the park that had flowered, since then the tree had been chopped down.

Predictable as 'poop'

And she was here, and he was there but watching her was more entertaining.

So, what goes in must come out.  It's never more instant for a bird, and the female Scarlet-backed Flowerpecker is exemplary, with this tiny seeded flower feed which is a sure favourite of flowerpeckers.

Perhaps calling for another to share in the feast.

It was also seen to scrap at the branch, not feeding on it for sure, an unusual behaviour indeed.

After some frenzy feeding, the bird would predictably perch close by.  Patience, and the inevitable will follow soon, i.e. the pooping session.  No wonder then that the bird had to feed constantly!

And over there, he was on his own, about the same thing, a typical feeding binge.
