Barbet to heart

One of my all-time favourite birds, the Lineated Barbets.  I have missed up close, almost anyway, with these birds which have been heard more than seen.  It was with absolute delight then when I chanced upon them again, actively scouting around.  And it's also the closest ever I managed to get to them too, must be the rather dense foliage which made them think that they're pretty covered.

It boasted such rich colours when it puffed and preened.

It must be one of the most affectionate birds around as it's always calling out to each other, and eventually would get together.
