Taman Rimba Kiara is a little green gem located in a corner of the TTDI residential area. The above flowering tree, the firmiana malayana or mata lembu, flashes in testimony to man's care-less-ness - it's one of only two trees in the park that had flowered, since then the tree had been chopped down.

Morning out for the lizard

It was rather heart-stopping then almost hilarious when I chanced upon this junior Monitor Lizard trying to snap at the grey wagtail on the rock, of course to no success as how could it when the bird has the advantage of wings and speed.

And then I guessed it decided to take a leisurely swim.

And then I thought now here's its opportunity to have a morning snack.

But nope, perhaps, the other party was simply too big for it to try and have a go at it for the lizard simply slipped off and out of sight.
