It is rare for the Greater Racket-tailed Drongo to fly down and when it did, it was even more exciting when I spotted that it had a prey in bill. Unfortunately, even with close-up I could not ascertain what it was, merely that it was a big insect.
For its long streamers, I had to zoom out in order to get these within the frame and this was how close, by its standard behaviour, the bird was.
As with any bird with an insect prey, it was seen to hit the insect many times before it managed to swallow it.
