As there was no response it continued to feed alone, and was still at it when I left.
Taman Rimba Kiara is a little green gem located in a corner of the TTDI residential area. The above flowering tree, the firmiana malayana or mata lembu, flashes in testimony to man's care-less-ness - it's one of only two trees in the park that had flowered, since then the tree had been chopped down.

A sole Kite sighting
It would truly have been a dismal outing if not for the sole sighting of the feeding Brahminy Kite. It was its continuous calling that alerted me to its presence, even then it was way up on one of the tallest trees. Its perch gave me a hint that perhaps there had been a catch, and true enough, a big one so it's no wonder that it was calling probably to its mate to share.
As there was no response it continued to feed alone, and was still at it when I left.
