Taman Rimba Kiara is a little green gem located in a corner of the TTDI residential area. The above flowering tree, the firmiana malayana or mata lembu, flashes in testimony to man's care-less-ness - it's one of only two trees in the park that had flowered, since then the tree had been chopped down.

Malkoha play

 Was it me, was it me you were trying to evade?

It was not the best of shots but it was the best of entertainment to encounter the Chestnut-breasted Malkoha this way.





Couldn't get away fast enough, and further down instead of up and away!  Nevertheless it was escape from my prying eyes into the thick undergrowth.
