Taman Rimba Kiara is a little green gem located in a corner of the TTDI residential area. The above flowering tree, the firmiana malayana or mata lembu, flashes in testimony to man's care-less-ness - it's one of only two trees in the park that had flowered, since then the tree had been chopped down.

A docile Serpent-eagle

A chance sighting revealed how adorable this big raptor could look.  It looked almost docile.  It was a most breezy afternoon so couldn't blame the Crested Serpent-eagle from enjoying itself - as if in a meditative state.

A curious, questioning glance at a plane flying overhead, almost human-like behaviour!

A feather-raising moment!
