Taman Rimba Kiara is a little green gem located in a corner of the TTDI residential area. The above flowering tree, the firmiana malayana or mata lembu, flashes in testimony to man's care-less-ness - it's one of only two trees in the park that had flowered, since then the tree had been chopped down.

Female fyc

It was a good day as I managed to spot another migrant, the female Yellow-rumped Flycatcher, and this is about a week after the male was sighted.  Have I missed the female before or did it arrive after the male, which I have failed to sight again in the taman.
Hopefully this female will be around for a while to enable a better shot; because of the distant shot I almost couldn't ascertain its ID.
