The Chestnut-breasted Malkoha (Phaenicophaeus curvirostris) is a challenge to get ideal shots simply because of its length 46-50cm as it's almost always partially blocked by foliage or high up. And most of the time it's here and gone in seconds too.
However this one decided to loiter around as it flew across right before the eyes, over, left and right, and down to the ground too, a real teaser.
But it also obliged with close-ups, and this is indeed the closest I have come across any malkoha.
When it obliged with eye-level perches, truly couldn't resist it.
Finally, it's Jump Lagi, from the distance.
