The female Yellow-rumped Flycatcher (Ficedula zanthopygia) never fails to make an appearance here for the past years.
But this one seemed rather skittish today. Having spotted me, it kept to the other side of the tree or to higher canopy. This is also one visitor that doesn't remain here for the duration of its visit, however, may be seen again before heading for home early next year.
Being less strikingly coloured than the male, it's still attractive with some distinctive markings on the breast, and also spotting a smaller yellow rump.
