The Asian Brown Flycatcher (Muscicapa dauurica) has predictably arrived and in good time too.
Plain and large-eyed, it may not be any bird photographer's target but this little fella holds its own charm in its petite form. Beauty in the eye of the beholder?
It will usually keep to mid-canopy but may be sighted lower sometimes and that's when to delight in its appeal. It's another long-stay visitor so there's no urgency to capture its presence.
