Taman Rimba Kiara is a little green gem located in a corner of the TTDI residential area. The above flowering tree, the firmiana malayana or mata lembu, flashes in testimony to man's care-less-ness - it's one of only two trees in the park that had flowered, since then the tree had been chopped down.

Subsequent encounter with Goshawk

It must be the wet weather and night that brought out the Crested Goshawk.  It's uncommon to run into this bird two days in a row, and at close quarters.

It didn't look like it was too pleased to see me though.

But I was glad it continued to preen in the warmth.

And I had enough time to shoot ' up close and personal'!

And then it must had had enough, and off it went.
