Taman Rimba Kiara is a little green gem located in a corner of the TTDI residential area. The above flowering tree, the firmiana malayana or mata lembu, flashes in testimony to man's care-less-ness - it's one of only two trees in the park that had flowered, since then the tree had been chopped down.

Goshawk's antics

The resident pair of Crested Goshawk looked like they were enjoying their early morning until something distracted them.

I too took to looking around and up for the source but failed to detect anything.  The only obvious disturbance was the taman worker approaching with an annoyingly loud leaf blower, and that definitely didn't warrant that upward search!

And then what took me by surprise was when the male bird fluffed its vent, which I'm still trying to googled for an answer!
