I would normally spot the Large Woodshrike (Tephrodornis gularis) in a mixed flock of birds foraging at mid to upper canopy, discernible by its rather harsh call. It's seldom that I come across a flock of their own so this occasion when there were about at least six was rare - they were noisy, they were hyperactive.
However they were mainly moving and hopping about separately and I was hoping that a couple would come close together, they did but never really close like paired ones normally would.
