Taman Rimba Kiara is a little green gem located in a corner of the TTDI residential area. The above flowering tree, the firmiana malayana or mata lembu, flashes in testimony to man's care-less-ness - it's one of only two trees in the park that had flowered, since then the tree had been chopped down.

Aesthetic aside

When the end comes, sometimes it's not a pretty sight.  But the cycle continues, death to life.
The Weaver Ants are found aplenty in the taman.  I walk around and always admire its nest craft.  When it gets to you, it tends to cling on and you have to pull it off firmly, sometimes trying to brush it off does not work.
