The firmiana malayana or mata lembu, remains here in testimony to man's care-less-ness - its tree had since been felled. Let not the birds leave too.

Drongos at play

It was a rare sight watching this Greater Racket-tailed Drongo flying high and low all over the area, and it even went down to the ground which is not a normal feature.  This one looks like it's still growing one of its streamers.
And then another one flew in, and then it was a chase-and-flight cycle for these two.









This was the one that flew in and started the chase.  It seems to have lost one of its long streamers and both its twisted pendants.


In comparison, this one that was flying around earlier, has shorter streamers, which suggests that it could be a juvenile.
