Taman Rimba Kiara is a little green gem located in a corner of the TTDI residential area. The above flowering tree, the firmiana malayana or mata lembu, flashes in testimony to man's care-less-ness - it's one of only two trees in the park that had flowered, since then the tree had been chopped down.

Cute as always, Iora

A little dynamo of a Common Iora, about only 13cm, that is constantly on the move but was busy preening, and self-absorbed so enabled me an excellent opportunity to take beautiful shots of it.  it was actually very quiet but its stunning yellow stood out even in the sunlight which drew my attention to it.
