Taman Rimba Kiara is a little green gem located in a corner of the TTDI residential area. The above flowering tree, the firmiana malayana or mata lembu, flashes in testimony to man's care-less-ness - it's one of only two trees in the park that had flowered, since then the tree had been chopped down.

The other Warbler

And then the Eastern Crowned Warbler arrived too.  This is not so commonly seen here compared to the Arctic Warbler which made it all the more special that there are now two warblers in the taman.

Like any warbler, fairly difficult to shoot because of its ceaseless and rapid movements, and the surest way to identify this bird, or rather differentiate it from the Artic Warbler is to look at its whiter underpart, its clean lower mandible and of course that strip down the middle of its crown.
This one's crown was barely visible but fortunately sufficiently clear to identify it.
