Taman Rimba Kiara is a little green gem located in a corner of the TTDI residential area. The above flowering tree, the firmiana malayana or mata lembu, flashes in testimony to man's care-less-ness - it's one of only two trees in the park that had flowered, since then the tree had been chopped down.

Fascinating

Another morning, and the Chinese Pond Heron came a-calling again.  For a big one, it perched light and easy on the topmost thinnest branch in the taman, defying balance.
I turned around and was confronted with another big one, the Purple Heron, in a world of its own.
These birds never stop amazing me!
