Taman Rimba Kiara is a little green gem located in a corner of the TTDI residential area. The above flowering tree, the firmiana malayana or mata lembu, flashes in testimony to man's care-less-ness - it's one of only two trees in the park that had flowered, since then the tree had been chopped down.

Only our very own Oriole

When I saw the juvy Black-naped Oriole, I was a little more than excited as I thought it could be the golden oriole, but of course not, as it's not found in Malaysia.  Nevertheless I thought it just might be, who knows!?  But no, it's just our very own oriole.

Still, it has to be a chase for a close-up to confirm it's just our Oriole, just in case ....

And the final images nailed the truth.
