Taman Rimba Kiara is a little green gem located in a corner of the TTDI residential area. The above flowering tree, the firmiana malayana or mata lembu, flashes in testimony to man's care-less-ness - it's one of only two trees in the park that had flowered, since then the tree had been chopped down.

Self-absorbed squirrel

The fruit must be simply irresistible that the Plantain Squirrel did not mind my close proximity!  It simply went on to gnaw at it, foraged about and as I followed it, it was not the least concerned that I was so close by.  Definitely a lesson in self-absorption and concentration here!
