Taman Rimba Kiara is a little green gem located in a corner of the TTDI residential area. The above flowering tree, the firmiana malayana or mata lembu, flashes in testimony to man's care-less-ness - it's one of only two trees in the park that had flowered, since then the tree had been chopped down.

It's the Warbler

I wonder if the birds are arriving earlier this year or I simply managed to spot them sooner.
This year I spotted the Arctic Warbler weeks earlier than last year but wasn't sure of its ID because of unclear image, so was delighted that I managed better shots a couple of days later.
This elegant bird with its long and slender body has come from really far, could be as far as Siberia or northern China.  It's not an easy bird to shoot as it's continuously foraging, and at mainly middle or upper canopy.
