Taman Rimba Kiara is a little green gem located in a corner of the TTDI residential area. The above flowering tree, the firmiana malayana or mata lembu, flashes in testimony to man's care-less-ness - it's one of only two trees in the park that had flowered, since then the tree had been chopped down.

What with the Malkoha

It may sound strange but I notice that when I see a particular bird I am likely to come across it repeatedly.  And this happens with the Green-billed Malkoha, which I so naturally cross path with it ever so frequently lately.  I seem to sight it so effortlessly, at different times of the day and all over the taman.
