Taman Rimba Kiara is a little green gem located in a corner of the TTDI residential area. The above flowering tree, the firmiana malayana or mata lembu, flashes in testimony to man's care-less-ness - it's one of only two trees in the park that had flowered, since then the tree had been chopped down.

A 'twisted' time

To say it was a challenging situation would be an understatement when one had two most hyper-active birds to contend with, leaving one to twirl and whirl in every which way possible to keep up with them

The Arctic Warbler seemed to be having a ball of a foraging time.  It's May, perhaps it's planning to stay on?

Standing tall is hardly its characteristic feature!

And one could never predict which way it would go!

Even this was hardly a 'secondth' of a perch before it was off again.

And then a Dark-necked Tailorbird decided to join in the party, resulting in a lightning round of rapid fire shots, under the dense foliage of the tree.

I supposed it did look as twisted as I was at some time.
