Taman Rimba Kiara is a little green gem located in a corner of the TTDI residential area. The above flowering tree, the firmiana malayana or mata lembu, flashes in testimony to man's care-less-ness - it's one of only two trees in the park that had flowered, since then the tree had been chopped down.

Feeding juvenile

 The nesting season for the bulbuls seemed to be over now, their chicks have grown healthily into juveniles.

The latest parent-juvenile pair to come my way was these Red-eyed Bulbuls that suddenly popped out as I walked by.






It was a quick dash away for the adult before it promptly returned with a feed, so speedy that I wasn't prepared for shots.
