Taman Rimba Kiara is a little green gem located in a corner of the TTDI residential area. The above flowering tree, the firmiana malayana or mata lembu, flashes in testimony to man's care-less-ness - it's one of only two trees in the park that had flowered, since then the tree had been chopped down.

Tree of surilis

 The tree was hanging with primates as I almost exclaimed out loud to myself as I suddenly glimpsed a wave of limbs!



The baby White-thighed Surili (Presbytis siamensis) almost froze when I stopped below it and I could see apprehension in its eyes.  To the rescue, as I saw its mother appear suddenly before its baby.
