Even though the Green-billed Malkoha is a regular visitor to the taman (and there's a pair to boot), it's still not easy to get up close with it. I managed only one close-up view when I sighted it on two occasions.
The closer sighting was against a prettier backdrop. There was a pair but unfortunately they did not get close together for a photo-op but were foraging separately.
Nevertheless, this one was calling out loud.
It puffed up when there was no response although the other bird was just two trees away!
Picturesque and enchanting!
